If you’ve come to hear my opinion on the standards, I think they’re very good (from what I’ve seen so far). I really appreciate the focus on critical thinking and making cross-subject connections and I think they’ll prove to be a positive step in the right direction.

While I may not be 100% behind the way they’re being adopted around the country, these standards are a well-intended effort to improve the quality of learning in the United States.

From what I have seen of examples in common core, shows the well intended method are way out of line and harming the education of students. The instruction are confusing and the base core of it’s more important that a student try than pass even tho the solution is wrong. It is setting up our student for failure in life and unprepared to have a better quality of living. Common core is dumbing down or student and pushing them toward sexuality without any moral guidelines based on integrity. Common core is doing to education what ACA is doing to healthcare.
